In the ever-evolving landscape of wearable technology, few devices have made as significant an impact as Samsung’s Galaxy smartwatches. These svelte, sophisticated devices have won over users all around the world, solidifying their status as the most popular smartwatches available right now.
As we are anticipating the Galaxy Watch 5 series in the next few months, the current Watch 4 and 3 lineups are a clear case of evolution over revolution. The smartwatches are no doubt actively targeting outdoor enthusiasts with new training features and promising longer battery life.
Unfortunately, despite the device’s innovative features, seamless integration with smartphones, and stylish designs, some users are still experiencing difficulties while using the smartwatch.
A Galaxy smartwatch user who experienced difficulties while trying to unlock his device advised the brand to make unlocking the Galaxy watch easier via the Samsung community.
In his wordings: “For example, unlock using the phone’s biometric. Or a combination of location and phone unlock status to automatically unlock the watch. Right now, entering the pin using the tiny screen is very annoying. And I have to enter it multiple times during the day because I wear it loosely and it locks itself a lot.”
Responding to the complaints, another user admonished the complainer to alter its unlocking method from pin to the pattern: “Change it from the pin to swipe pattern. Much easier,” he responded. With this technique, the unlocking difficulties will be reduced. However, as of the time of press, the brand has not reacted to the complaints, but we hope it will address the issue shortly as the fuss is more than five hours now.
