The latest smartphone, going by the name Vivo 1817, has been spotted on the cross-platform processor benchmark, Geekbench. The pre-existing Vivo Y93 goes by the internal name of Vivo 1818, so 1817 is definitely a new handset. Although similar in design, Vivo 1817 has a 2GB RAM, instead of the 3GB RAM sported by 1818.
Expected to get a more marketable name once official, the 1817 is being powered by Qualcomm chip with an octa-core CPU, and probably the Snapdragon 439 one can find in the Y93/Y95 models. 1817 also runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, like the rest of the phone in the Y-series.
And that concludes all the information that has presently been provided by Geekbench, but it is only a matter of time before more information is revealed.
