Chinese firm Vivo has confirmed the release of the iQOO gaming phone – iQOO Pro 5G smartphone debunking all rumors that claimed it to be called Vivo iQOO Plus 5G.
In April, Vivo launched its first gaming phone Vivo iQOO, and in June the company revealed its intentions to release a 5G edition of its iQOO gaming phone. It seems that the company has kept its promise. The upcoming Vivo iQOO Pro 5G is an advanced version of Vivo iQOO with some identical specs.
The teaser released today showcases the rear design of the smartphone, which includes a triple camera setup at the top-left corner. It also has an iQOO 5G logo at the rear with ‘Monster Inside’ text printed vertically at the center of the device’s back.
A freshly leaked banner also gives us a hint to be fueled by a Snapdragon 855+ processor since it is a game-centric processor. It is also revealed that the handset will be equipped with 8 GB of RAM and built-in storage of 128 GB packed with a 4,500mAh battery that will carry support for 44W fast charging.
Vivo iQOO 5G pro will be officially available from August for further information regarding its pricing and specs. We need to wait until the official announcement is made.
