Previously the Chinese smartphone giant Vivo had mentioned that it would hold a launch event on December 22, which will announce the launch of the Vivo S12 series along with the Vivo Watch 2. Now Vivo has officially teased its Vivo Watch 2.
As previously predicted, the watch features a round dial design and offers silicone straps in two colors: Black and White. Vivo further mentions that the watch would come with seven-day battery life on a single charge.
The new smartwatch will adopt a dual-core architecture consisting of the master control and communication chips. The company has also mentioned that the smartwatch could achieve up to 14 days of Bluetooth connection. Although the previous leaks had suggested that the Vivo Watch 2 would also offer a leather strap, the latest official information on the watch does not mention anything about the leather strap.
The case sizes for the previous generation of Vivo Watch measured at 46mm and 42mm. Still, the latest information available on the upcoming Vivo Watch 2 reveals that this watch would only come with a single 46mm case.
As mentioned above, the Chinese company claims that the smartwatch could last up to seven days on a single charge; moreover, the smartwatch is likely to get an eSIM. Other sources have mentioned that the upcoming Vivo Watch 2 will feature a 5ATM pressure rating water resistance and that it will run on a 510mAh battery.
Although the Vivo Watch 2 is listed on Vivo China’s website for pre-booking, the pricing for the smartwatch has not been announced yet. However, previous leaks suggest that the Bluetooth variant of the smartwatch would be priced somewhere around CNY 1,299 whereas the eSIM version could be priced at CNY 1699. The official launch of the smartwatch will take place as scheduled.
