Just last week, Vivo announced its next tablet, the Vivo Pad Air, in China. During the official unveiling, the mobile brand didn’t reveal the selling price but only disclosed some specifications of the device. Surprisingly, Vivo has today revealed the selling price, starting at 1799 Yuan.
According to the Chinese mobile brand, the new Pad Air will be available for pre-order in China starting today and is set to go on sale starting on August 18th. Now, let’s look at the full specs and pricing of the new Vivo Pad Air.
Vivo Pad Air Full Specs
An 11.5-inch LCD screen with 2.8K resolution powered the tablet. For the display, the Vivo Pad Air comes with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 3:2 aspect ratio, 10-bit color, and a P3 color gamut. It contains a 5-megapixel front camera, while an 8-megapixel rear camera with no flash is located on the back shell.
A quad-speaker system and an 8,500mAh battery with 44W rapid charging are included in the Pad. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 870 CPU with up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and LPDDR5 RAM. It runs Android 13 and OriginOS 3.0, a tablet-specific custom skin.
Additionally, a Vivo Pencil 2 stylus is compatible with the Vivo Pad Air. It has choices for up to 5 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and USB-C (USB 3.0) connectivity. Metal makes up the shell on the back. The tablet weighs 530 grams and has a thickness of 6.67mm.
Pricing and Availability
The new Vivo Pad Air comes in three colors: Free Blue, Brave Power, and Easy Silver, and is available in four configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage.
The 8GB/128GB version, which is the least expensive of all, goes official for 1799 Yuan, while the 8GB/256GB version is priced at 1999 Yuan, and the 12GB/256GB version is available for 2299 Yuan. The top of all, which is the 12GB or 512GB, is selling at 2599 Yuan.
According to the brand, the new Pad Air will be available for pre-order in China and is set to go on sale starting on August 18th. Currently, the Pad is only available in the Chinese market.
