The Vivo S16 series is set to debut in China in December 2022. In a recent development, popular tipster OnLeaks has shared the renders of the Vivo S16 Pro.
Keeping the predecessors in mind, we can say that the regular and Pro variant will look identical. It is also being said that the series will also consist of a third phone which will probably be named Vivo S16e.
However, we are skeptical about the launch of the three phones in the same timeline. Speculations are that the Vivo S16e will be launched after a while.
As for the design, the Vivo S16 Pro shows a modified version of the Vivo S12 series. The device will have a curved AMOLED display. This will also put the same in competition with the recently launched Realme 10 Pro Plus. We can expect it to get a high refresh rate, maybe 120Hz, that will deliver a smoother experience while playing animations.
At the back, the smartphone houses a rectangular camera island at the top left corner, including three circular sensors and a ring-shaped flash. The renders suggest that the device will have a matte-finish rear panel, and the camera island has a glossy finish. The top side of the smartphone gets the microphone, and the bottom has a speaker grille, microphone, and USB Type-C port. The power button and the volume rockers will be situated on the right spine of the smartphone.
Vivo S16 Pro expected specifications The Vivo S16 Pro will feature an OLED FHD+ display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate. For security purposes, the device has an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is in the air the handset will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor that may get paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Rumours have it that the device will be shipped in three colour variants – gold, black, and green. A recent 3C listing of the smartphone showed that it would support 80W fast charging, the same will be the case in the base variant.
