The latest Vivo V23 Pro smartphone has been spotted on the IMEI database. The device was spotted on the said website by tipster Mukul Sharma who also revealed the moniker and the model number of the device. It also means that Vivo will soon announce its price. The Vivo V23 Pro carries the model number V2132; moreover, a similar-looking device from the same company was spotted on TENAA earlier this month. However, people speculated that the device was probably a Vivo X70 model. But as it turns out, the device that appeared on the TENAA website revealed the specs of the Vivo V23 Pro model.
The IMEI database reveals the launch date of the device. The smartphone from Vivo is supposed to come out by the end of this year or by the first quarter of 2022. Notably, the Vivo V21 series went official in the first quarter of 2021. Now that the device has made its appearance on the IMEI database, more information regarding its specs will hopefully be revealed. Although the listing on the IMEI website does not reveal much, the TENAA listing sheds some light on the feature front of the upcoming offering from the Chinese tech giant.
The TENAA listing reveals that the upcoming Vivo V23 will run on Samsung’s Exynos 1080 chipset. Moreover, the listing also mentions that the smartphone will come with a 6.58-inch of FHD+ AMOLED display that comes with 1080 x 2376 pixels.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 4320mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. The phone apparently measures 160.10×75.39×7.55mm and weighs 181 grams, just like the Vivo X70. It should be noted that most of the features listed resonate with that of the Vivo X70. So there still remains a doubt whether the features posted on the TENAA website belong to the Vivo V23 Pro.
