Vivo V29 Series is Launching in India on 4 October: Here’s What to Expect

Just last month, Vivo announced the Vivo V29e 5G in the Indian market. Now, the brand has revealed that it will be launching a new Vivo lineup – the V29 series in the market on 4 October, 2023. Initially, the smartphone series has already made its debut globally, but the Pro model is said to be an India-exclusive product.

In a teased launch poster image, Vivo confirms the Vivo V29 series will launch in India on October 4th at 12 p.m. The new Vivo lineup is expected to feature two lineups – the Vivo V29 and the V29 Pro version joining the Indian market first. The launch event will most likely be live-streamed on Youtube, X(Twitter), and Vivo’s official website for viewers to watch it online. Now, let’s look at what the new Vivo V29 lineup tends to offer.

The Vivo V29 Series

Just like other Vivo phones, the V29 series will also offer a design-first approach. The smartphone is lightweight (186g) and has a thin form factor (0.746cm). Moreover, it has a curved 3D display. A triple camera setup with an aura light ring is located at the back. The lineup series is expected in three color options: Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black.

According to the brand, the Sony IMX663 sensor within the V29 would enable portrait pictures that are comparable to those taken with a DSLR. Additionally, it will include Aura Light for portraits in low light and the feature for wedding-style portraits. In addition to the main 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, the Sony IMX663 sensor may also have a 2MP depth sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens.

Although the launch date is more than a week away, the device is confirmed to be sold online via Flipkart, Vivo’s online shop, and other offline retailers. Given the previous global launch, the main variant of the series – the Vivo V29 is likely to for ₹32,990 in the market, while the Pro model, which is said to be an India-exclusive, will be the top of the show and it is likely to price as high as ₹43,990.
