Vivo being the official smartphone sponsor of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, has introduced the Vivo V9 Blue Limited Edition, alongside announcing several campaigns at a Beijing event today, May 24. The smartphone will be immortalized at the Home of FIFA in Zurich as a memorandum for the company’s global event sponsorship.
This will be the first-ever limited edition smartphone to join a prestigious collection of significant artefacts and memorabilia, which chronicle the growth of football into a global culture. – Vivo
It is also part of the campaign ‘My Time, My FIFA World Cup’, which includes the Vivo Super Fan Photographer program. This program will provide fans with access to pitch-side, stadium, and warm-up sessions.
The photography program will involve football fans, consumers, and special guests that are passionate about photography. They are to participate in the FIFA World Cups 2018 and 2022 while documenting the moments via unprecedented close-up access.
The program also has a Vivo Super Time project to elevate the fan experience during the performance segment of the event. It will involve a series of music-themed performances throughout the tourney, including the Vivo Super DJ show for all 64 matches. The final match on July 15 will see the company create an exclusive Vivo Super Time moment during the Official Song Performance.
