The wait is over for Vivo lovers as the company has finally launched its all-new Y93 smartphone in India. The same device was launched in China last month but as claimed by Vivo, the model which was launched in China had a different chipset.
The Vivo Y93 has a huge 4030mAh battery but doesn’t support fast charging, no Type-C USB. It has a 6.22-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch right on the top. The device runs on Android Oreo 8.1, supports dual-rear camera 13 Megapixel as the primary sensor and a 2 Megapixel as the secondary sensor. The front camera has 8 Megapixel. The features are good and the price is low which shows the company has played well with the numbers.
The device Vivo Y93 in India is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC which is paired with 4GB of RAM, and the same device launched in China was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset. This is not great news for people in India as Qualcomm Snapdragon is considered better, this must have been done as they had to reduce the cost for the device.
Vivo Y93 will be available in color variants like Nebula Purple color and Starry. The device will be available at almost all important retail stores at INR 13,990 with 4GB RAM +32GB storage. Other than this there is no other variant available as of now.
