Apple is expanding end-to-end encryption in iCloud

Apple revealed a significant increase in end-to-end encryption across all of its cloud services.

The company said that the security upgrades are made to shield Apple consumers against the most cunning attacks.

At first, Advanced Data Protection will only be available through opt-in, so to use it, open the Settings app and select the iCloud menu.

Apple also intends to make iMessage Contact Key Verification available to consumers who are particularly vulnerable to online threats.
