According to foreign media reports, Apple's highly anticipated foldable-screen laptop is reportedly set to launch in 2026 at the earliest.
The company has sent component samples to Foxconn for testing and has demanded over 100,000 folding tests.
Apple is currently negotiating with display suppliers regarding the availability of foldable OLED displays.
Samsung Display and LG Display, both major suppliers of iPhone OLED displays, are also working on developing and producing foldable OLED displays for notebooks.
Samsung Display has planned to invest 4.1 trillion won to commence the production of 8.6-generation OLED panels between 2025 and 2026.
Despite being an industry leader, Apple has lagged in the folding screen mobile phone market and the category of folding screen notebooks.
