Microsoft’s LinkedIn has now become the latest tech firm to be affected by massive layoffs.
This information was released shortly after Microsoft revealed its intention to eliminate 10,000 positions over the next three months to reduce spending.
The platform's recruitment division was reportedly subject to significant layoffs on Monday, however, the Information does not specify the precise number of workers impacted.
The company's plans started to take shape last week, as 617 staff were reportedly let go from the Xbox, HoloLens mixed reality hardware, and Surface devices departments.
LinkedIn has had to lay off workers before; during the height of the pandemic, the firm did the same to restructure and cope with the difficult economic conditions it was experiencing.
