Tesla Model Y has been named the most outsold electric car in Europe among other EV brands in January 2023.
According to JATO Dynamics findings, the most registered all-electric model in January was the Tesla Model Y with 7,174 units.
The other popular models were the Dacia Spring with 4,242, Volkswagen ID.4 with 3,812, Volkswagen ID.3 with 3,348 and Fiat 500 electric with 3,248.
Unfortunately, none of them was even close to the Tesla Model Y which boosted 7,174 units, a combination of both Volkswagen's ID.4 and ID.3.
Unlike January 2022, where Tesla had a slow month, the company this year, noted a 1,018 per cent increase in registrations to almost 9,400 units.
According to the reports, the number of new registrations increased by 11 per cent year-over-year to 907,000 in 27 countries monitored by them.
While Tesla continues to expand and notes some interesting results, the brand is however still relatively small in Europe - in January it was behind Suzuki, Mini and Jeep.
