Twitter on Friday announced that it will remove all legacy verified badges for users as well as organisations from April 1.
Twitter CEO, Elon Musk also confirmed the same in a tweet stating, 'Twitter Blue' verified check marks for both individuals and organizations, effective April 1.
Twitter Blue is currently available worldwide, and the billionaire entrepreneur stated that users can obtain blue verification for $7 a month if they sign up via a Web browser.
With the Web browser, Twitter users can now sign up and get Blue Verified for $7 monthly.
Previously the Twitter CEO had on multiple occasions said that the company will remove all legacy blue badges, in its monetisation push.
