WhatsApp has introduced a new feature called Companion Mode, allowing iPhone users to simultaneously link their WhatsApp account on up to four devices.
This feature was previously available for Android users and now brings the convenience of using WhatsApp on multiple devices to iPhone users.
In addition to Companion Mode, the latest update also brings improvements to disappearing messages, such as the ability to save important messages while this feature is active.
With new fonts and background colors, Whatsapp status has also been enhanced, adding more user customization options.
The update includes GIFs that now play automatically without requiring a tap, making viewing animated content easier and more enjoyable.
Another notable addition is the ability to add a WhatsApp call link directly to the iOS Calendar app, streamlining the scheduling and joining WhatsApp calls.
