WhatsApp's Minimalist Redesign: New Icons & Colors

WhatsApp is undergoing significant changes to its interface, with a more minimalist design replacing the iconic green background with white.

In the latest beta update (2.23.20.10) for WhatsApp on Android, new icons and colors have been introduced.

The green color in the app is shifting to a slightly lighter shade, noticeable in light and dark themes.

Chat bubbles have received a makeover with more rounded edges, contributing to the cleaner look of the app.

WhatsApp is also testing chat filters to help users organize their messages more efficiently, addressing a highly requested feature.

While the new WhatsApp interface is still in development, there's no official word on its release date as the company continues to refine the UI.
