WhatsApp has just released the latest update for WhatsApp Business through the Google Play Beta Program. This update is made available only in a few selected countries.
With this upgradation from version 0.0.120 to version 2.18.3, the company promises increased stability in the WhatsApp Business application. A few new features have also been added to the latest update.
The most interesting one among the newly added features is the “Labels”. “Labels” lets the user filter the chats and the messages. The users can quickly find a message and classify it according to the requirements. Once a chat or message is labeled, an icon will be seen just next to it.
The ‘Labels’ feature and the ‘Starred messages‘ feature functions quite alike, except for the fact that there are different labels available in the latest version that can be applied to chats and messages. The variety of labels makes it easier for users to quickly find a specific chat or message.
Customized labels, according to the requirements, can also be created. WhatsApp itself selects the color once a new customized label is created.
The labels are removable as well. It can be removed easily from the message or a chat. The company believes that the ‘Labels’ feature will turn out to be really useful for businesses. It is expected to make the managing process a lot easier in WhatsApp.
