As part of its commitment to enhancing users’ experience on its platform, the American social media service WhatsApp has officially released an optional subscription plan for businesses named WhatsApp Premium. The new WhatsApp optional subscription plan for businesses is an advanced service that is marked as compatible updates in the latest versions of WhatsApp Business beta for Android and iOS.

WhatsApp Premium: A New Advanced Service

WhatsApp Premium is an optional premium plan available for certain business accounts, and they can join by opening WhatsApp Settings. If there is a new section called WhatsApp Premium there, it means the business account is eligible to join the plan. Meanwhile, two more advanced services are available to businesses who subscribe to WhatsApp Premium for a set monthly charge that may vary by country.

  • One, Through a custom business link: Users can open a personalized link that can be changed once every 90 days to view the landing business page and simply initiate discussion. It is a singular short link. It should be noted that it expires when your subscription is canceled, so other companies may later claim it. Businesses aid clients in remembering their company connection by selecting a unique URL corresponding to the business name.
  • And the other one is an important improvement for multi-device: When a business subscribes to WhatsApp Premium, they may connect up to 10 devices, making it simpler to manage conversations when more employees are messaging clients using the same WhatsApp account.

WhatsApp Premium: Currently Free

All available features are free for businesses;

It should be noted: If you choose not to subscribe, your current experience while using the business app will remain unchanged. WhatsApp Premium is merely an optional subscription that provides some features to businesses that need specific advanced services.

WhatsApp Premium: Easy To Opt Out

If you sign up for WhatsApp Premium, you can cancel your subscription at any time from the App Store or Play Store and continue using the service until the end of the current monthly cycle. Additionally, since this is a feature reserved for businesses, we can be certain that WhatsApp Premium won’t be made available to users of the customer app.

Businesses in some nations that install the most recent iterations of the WhatsApp Business beta for Android and iOS can now use WhatsApp Premium. Don’t be shocked if you don’t find WhatsApp Premium in the WhatsApp Settings because it is only currently rolling out to specific businesses in a few regions.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp intends to roll out the premium plan to more business accounts in the future. We will notify you in a new article when this happens. Follow TechGenyz for more updates.
