Most people out there post stories on Facebook and Instagram, yet some still prefer to post their stories on WhatsApp in the form of WhatsApp Status. Now the Facebook-owned messaging app has rolled out its new feature for the iOS users where users can share their WhatsApp status on other apps like Facebook.
This feature was on a testing mode on WhatsApp Beta version for the Android users. And now it seems that it has commercially rolled out for the iOS users. The ‘Share to Facebook Story’ button goes live right under your WhatsApp Status. Clicking on it will take you to the Facebook app, where you can then post it as a Story.
However, later in some report, WABetaInfo noted that “for now the feature has been removed from WhatsApp beta for Android.” So, right now the “Add to Facebook Story” button isn’t available in beta. But for those iOS users voila! You’ve got it.
With this feature, WhatsApp users will be able to share various multimedia files like pictures, GIFs, video, and also text message. The WhatsApp users will need to manually select the ‘Add to Facebook Story’ button to share the status on FB stories.
To use the new feature – Open WhatsApp on your smartphone> Go to “Status” and create a status> Go to My Status>Share to Facebook Story> Tap “allow” or “open” if asked to open the Facebook app. Comment us if you’ve got the new feature too.
