For the past few months, the instant messaging application has showcased numerous features to pace up the app in all possible ways. But, the exact date of the features to be rolled out is still unknown. The upcoming features are heavily correlated to the visual representation of the app; unlike backend features, this will ultimately offer you a magic treat.
According to Wabetainfo, the website that tracks all the follow-ups of WhatsApp suggests, the app is now planning to create a ‘WhatsApp Community’. Moreover, it’s been in a developing stage for several months alongside a few new features that will be rolled out in the coming days. Whilst, all the exciting features are in development, WhatsApp will supposedly launch them in the forthcoming days.
WhatsApp Communities works as get together a place where you can build your communities and share valuable information. WhatsApp is planning to remove the camera tab, which has scarce in the app that billions of users visit every day.
The community tab will replace the camera tab only if it has the chance of getting attention from users. We do not have any clue whether the app wants to remove it permanently or share a different place for the camera tab, but that is their actual plan.
Further, as you can see in the screenshot, the communities help you gather all the troops you have got in one place, and any communities you have created or added to will pop up in this new tab.
Notably, WhatsApp communities will also offer you to manage your groups much better by handling special admin tools. Besides this, Wabetainfo hasn’t shared anything about the release date of this feature, but we can expect this feature very soon since it has begun to grab the heed of the users.
