The Wi-Fi trademark owner, Wi-Fi Alliance, reported yesterday, on September 29, that it has certified the new Nokia N139DL. Wi-Fi Alliance is used by manufacturers to brand certified products that have been tested for interoperability.

The new Nokia N139DL is expected to be announced shortly by Nokia Mobile as the device gets certified alongside Nokia N1374DL. Recall that both devices first appeared on TracFone and its subsidiary, Net10 Wireless, websites’ support paged a few weeks ago.

Nokia N139DL is a 4G feature phone that runs on KaiOS 3.0 and supports the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band with a channel width of 20 MHz. WPA3 Enterprise and Personal security frames are used to secure the device.

This device will be equipped with a 4370 mAh battery, which is similar to the Nokia X20’s battery capacity (4470 mAh). Because the adapter tested with the device allows rapid charging, it appears that the battery of the TA-1374 might be charged up to 24W. I believe it will support the traditional 18W quick charging.

The label location diagram exposes the gadget’s design, which is similar to that of recent Nokia handsets, as well as the fact that the device will have a Google Assistant button and a 3.5 mm socket on the bottom.

Nokia N139DL will be the first Nokia phone to come pre-installed with KaiOS 3.0, despite the fact that the Nokia 800 Tough has been observed running it. KaiOS 3.0 is the outcome of a collaboration between KaiOS and Mozilla to integrate newer versions of the Gecko browser engine with KaiOS, which is now Gecko 84.0.

The device could be a TracFone version of an existing KaiOS-based Nokia handset, such as the Nokia 2720 V Flip for Verizon, or it could be a whole new device. The Nokia 8000 4G and Nokia 6300 4G, two of the most current global Nokia phones to use KaiOS, were unveiled in November of last year.
