Microsoft will officially be launching the Xbox Cloud Gaming App on the LG Smart TVs, which will mark a very significant advancement in the world of console-free gaming. This initiative will allow Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Gaming subscribers to stream all kinds of Xbox titles directly on all the compatible LG TVs, which will eliminate the need for a physical console.
With the new Xbox Cloud Gaming integration on LG Smart TVs, gamers can stream a wide variety of titles they already own, directly from the cloud without needing a console. Popular AAA games like Assassin’s Creed Shadows, NBA 2K25, and Hogwarts Legacy are fully supported, allowing players to dive into immersive adventures, intense sports action, or magical worlds with ease.

The Xbox app will now be accessible with LG’s 2022 OLED TVs, select 2023 Smart TVs and the newer TVs that run webOS24 or a higher version. For the 2025 TVs in particular, the app will also be integrated into the Gaming Portal, which is a centralised hub that is designed for effortless searching of games as well as personalised features. Older models will be able to download the app via the store instead. The app will also be available on LG’s portable StanbyME screens.
