While the Xiaomi 12 series is already proving its mantle in the industry, rumours regarding the Xiaomi 13 have also started appearing online. Famous tipster Digital Chat Station has tipped that the smartphone is already in the testing phase along with another variant from
the same series.
Furthermore, it is also being said that the smartphone brand is testing the MIUI based on the latest Android 13 operating system. As for the timeline, speculations are that the smartphone will be launched somewhere around November 2022.
When it comes to specifications, all the hints point toward the fact that the Xiaomi 12 series will feature the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Previous reports have it that Qualcomm is all set to drop the second generation Snapdragon 8 processor by November, which serves as a big factor why Xiaomi is planning the 13 series launch by the
end of the year.
Another fresh piece of news is the partnership between Xiaomi and Leica. We could get to see the Leica sensor in the Xiaomi 13 series doing wonders in the name of photography.
Moreover, the display of the handset is going to have a 2K resolution. A curved display is already something that we have seen in multiple Xiaomi devices. High chances are that the Xiaomi 13 series will also have a similar design, sleek and curved from the edges. In terms of RAM and storage, the base variant of the device may get 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
There has been no word regarding the battery of the smartphone until now. However, we can expect a battery of around 4500mAh or 5000mAh. As for the charging capacity, Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge already boasted the 120W fast charging support. The Xiaomi 13 series could be seen shipping with the same or a little upgraded tech.
