A new Mi TV in India as teased by Xiaomi via a tweet is to launch soon. The post also declares that since debuting the first Mi TV on 14th Feb 2018, in just 11 months, it has achieved much love from its customers hence becoming the first “SmartTVBrand” in India.
As said by the company, “bigger picture” we expect it to be the Mi TV 4 65-inch which was recently launched in China. The post also includes a video which showcases the growing popularity of the Mi TVs in India. According to IDC’s Q2 2018 Worldwide report, Xiaomi is now the number 1 Smart TV Brand in India.
In September 2018, Xiaomi launched three Mi TVs: Mi TV 4 Pro-55-inch, Mi LED TV 4A Pro 49-inch and Mi TV 4C Pro-32-inch. The Mi TV 4 Pro 55-inch was launched for Rs 49,999, Mi LED TV 4A Pro 49-inch for Rs 29,999 and Mi TV 4C Pro 32-inch for 14,999. And after the government cut down on GST to 18 per cent there was a price cut up to Rs 2,000 for Mi LED Smart TV 4A (32-inch), Mi LED TV 4C PRO (32-inch), and Mi LED TV 4A Pro (49-inch).
