Xiaomi has always been favored in the smartphone market for its affordable range and innovative initiatives. For the past couple of months, numerous reports have been about them developing a gaming phone codenamed Blackshark.
Today the Chinese giant officially confirmed the launch of the first gaming phone packed with the latest Qualcomm technology. The phone apparently has an Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, Snapdragon 845 SoC, and 8GB of RAM, as per the Geekbench listing. In addition, the phone is fitted with a screen with a diagonal of more than 5.5-inches, having a resolution of 2160 by 1080 pixels (FHD +) and an 18: 9 aspect ratio.
According to reports, the phone might make its debut tomorrow along with the Mi Mix 2s. The CEO of Black Shark recently declared a lucky draw on Weibo where three winners will be gifted with a Black Shark smartphone on 30th March. As far as the price or the phone’s availability in the market is concerned, we are still left in the dark. The manufacturer has assured that light would be thrown on these matters soon.
