Mobile photography has become very popular among the masses since it is easier to carry, and users have the option to share it on any social media platform of their preference, instantly. There has been a rumor going around that Xiaomi will bring out a new smartphone that will feature a 256 megapixels camera.
Keeping up with the ever-growing demand for mobile photography, smartphone manufacturers have updated the hardware to be superfast. The latest smartphones that are coming out now, almost all of them feature either three or four cameras on its rear end.
The cameras mounted on the back of smartphones come with powerful pixels. Gone are the days when the rear cameras used to be of 12 or even 15 MP. Nowadays, almost all smartphones feature cameras of 48 megapixels if not above.
This should not come as a surprise to anyone but some smartphones also have 100 million-pixel super zoom main cameras. Xiaomi’s CC9 Pro, and Samsung HMX both have 108 million pixels camera and a 1 / 1.33-inch super-zoom feature. This special feature also helped Xiaomi CC9 Pro win the first place in DxOMark.
It goes without saying that super zoom and adding more pixels to the camera are the main two features that the smartphone manufacturers will always try to incorporate in the smartphones.
Subsequently, Xiaomi is rumored to bring to the market a new smartphone that will have a camera of a whopping 256 million pixel ultra-clear camera mode interface. Although the name of the next Xiaomi device that will feature this new amazing interface has not been mentioned, it can be guessed through the leaked images of the device that the next device may be the Xiaomi Milan Pavilion Pro.
However, the authenticity of this news is yet to be confirmed or checked as Xiaomi has not revealed any official information about the new device.
