Following the latest trend of manufacturing foldable mobile phones for the market, which would be exemplified in the near future by Samsung Galaxy F and Huawei FlexPai soft, Xiaomi has announced its plans to release possibly the world’s first double folding smartphone.
The official Weibo news states that Xiaomi Linbin has successfully manufactured the first folding screen mobile phone after overcoming a number of technical difficulties with the help of flexible folding screen technology, flexible cover technology, four-wheel drive folding shaft technology, and MIUI adaptation.
The Xiaomi double-folding mobile phone has a symmetrical double-folded structure that coalesces the experience of a tablet and a mobile phone.
The report further states that while the phone is still undergoing developments and improvements, the company would consider mass-producing the product if it received a positive audience response.
