Xiaomi India is going to launch a new power bank on September 22, which could be called the Mi Power Bank 3. This will be launched in the new event called “Smarter Living 2021” to unveil a number of smart products from Xiaomi.
Ahead of it, the company has now announced to launch a new power bank in the country on September 22. This could also be the new Mi Power Bank 3 series models that have launched 3 days back in China.
Xiaomi sells the Mi Power Bank 2i series and Redmi Power Banks in India. Hence, speculations say that the upcoming power bank can be a Mi Power Bank 3 series model. The new models will arrive with both MicroUSB and USB Type-C ports just like the Redmi Power Banks.
The high-end 45W and 50W Mi Power Bank 3 models don’t feature a MicroUSB port, we can rule them out. Thus we can expect a launch of the standard version in the series, which is similar to the Redmi Power Bank in terms of features but the USB Type-C port can be also used as output.
So we cannot be sure as to whether Xiaomi will launch a 10,000mAh, 20,000mAh, or 30,000mAh version. Perhaps earlier models can be relaunched as the Mi Power Bank 3i with 10,000mAh and Mi Power Bank 3i 20,000mAh for the same price or a little more as the older ones.
