After the successful launch of the bezel-less Mi MIX Smartphone, the company is now planning to launch its new flagship dubbed Mi MIX 2, from the family of Mi MIX. The Smartphone was designed by Philippe Starck, the same French designer who previously worked on the original Mi Mix.
One day prior to the image and the launch date of the device, it was posted on Xiaomi’s official Weibo account. The Mi MIX 2 will be introduced on September 11 which features a bezel-less screen just like its previous version. The venue of the launch event of Mi MIX 2 will be the University of Technology Gymnasium in Beijing.

According to the images shared, it can be predicted that the top of the phone would remain the same but the bottom half can be a surprise for all the users as it is hidden in the image.
According to sources, the Mi MIX 2 features a 6.4-inch dual curved AMOLED 2K display with the possibility of the chin area being much smaller. The smartphone’s display will have a higher screen-to-body ratio than its predecessor, the Mi Mix.
Hence, rumors say that the Mi MIX 2 is quite similar to its earlier version. Therefore, it can be expected that the new flagship will be equipped with a Snapdragon 835 processor combined with 6 gigs of RAM. It runs on Android Nougat-based MIUI 9 software.
The Smartphone will be available in two different variants. The standard features 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of inbuilt storage space, and the other higher version features 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of default storage. It also consists of a dual rear camera and a long-lasting battery. It is also expected to feature a 3D camera for face recognition. But, again, it is assumed that Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 will be sold in China, which will remain limited to that market only.
