The Chinese technology giant Xiaomi has announced upgrading the Xiaomi Iron Egg equipped with dog walking and carrying protection features.
According to a document released by Xiaomi Robot Lab, the Xiaomi robot dog Tidan ushered in an OTA upgrade. It now features support for dog walking gait, dog carrying protection functions, and an App Quick Connect feature.
The iron egg’s gait in this mode will mirror the gait of a dog walking in the actual world, as the name implies.
Depending on the situation, the dog-carrying protection function will be treated differently. When the user picks up the iron egg in dog walking mode, the iron egg will immediately cease running. The iron egg will begin running once it is placed back on the ground.
When picked up in running mode, the iron egg will immediately cease moving, but when placed on the ground, it will remain stationary.
It’s also worth noting that the Xiaomi Iron Egg just passed 10 tests and was able to unlock the gas detection capability. Millet iron eggs may “smell” vinegar, soy sauce, Pu’er tea, coffee, mixed juice, garlic, onion, orange, coriander, and even a bowl of snail powder, according to the tests.
Xiaomi founder Lei Jun revealed at the beginning of this month that the Xiaomi Iron Egg project had received this year’s million-dollar technological award. Xiaomi’s first-generation bionic quadruped robot, CyberDog, was reportedly released in August of last year.
Iron Dan has a bionic walk as well as a bionic visual and audio experience. It has a high-precision environmental perception system and 11 high-precision sensors distributed throughout the body. The whole cost is 9999 yuan.
In recent times the Chinese technology giant has expanded its Artificial intelligence industry and has been one of the leading in the world, this can be seen in their CyberDog, Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Mop 2 Pro among others.
