The Xiaomi Mi A2 and the Xiaomi Redmi Y2 are expected to arrive soon in India. The Mi 6x, also known as Mi A2, has reportedly received TENAA approval. Just like Xiaomi Mi 5X was sold as Xiaomi Mi A1 with the Android One support in excess outside China, the Mi 6X is being predicted to be sold as the Mi A2 outside China. The two aforementioned devices have just been spotted in the source code of the Indian version of Xiaomi’s official website.

In a certain portion of the source code, taken from the Xiaomi India website, words like “Mi A2 Hard Case”, “Redmi Y2 Perforated Case Black,” and “Redmi Y2 Perforated Case Blue” were spotted. The source code was removed later.

Mi A2, powered by the Snapdragon 626 chipset with an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz, boasts of a 5.99″ display and contains 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It has a dual rear camera combination of 20 MP & 8 MP sensor with f/2.0 and f/1.8 aperture. The 20 MP f/2.0 front camera sounds good. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear side and is expected to come with a 2910 mAh battery.
