Xiaomi has added two more devices to the flagship Redmi series. The Chinese smartphone maker on 4th November unveiled its new smartphone Redmi 4 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and MIUI 8.
The Redmi 4 is available in two variations, the first with a 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage named Redmi 4 Pro and the second version with 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage called the standard one.
The Pro version comes with an FHD screen, 2.0GHz Snapdragon 625 chipset, and the standard version sports an HD screen and 1.4 Snapdragon 430 processor.
The two versions differ in terms of display resolution, processor, and some other features – other features are similar in both smartphones. Redmi 4 standard version and Pro comes with a 5-inch display with 2.5D curved glass on the top – a major design overhaul compared to its predecessor.
On the camera part both the smartphones pack with 13-mega pixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel on the front. Battery power always been the top priority for Xiaomi – Redmi 4 comes with 4100mAh battery backup.
The new Redmi 4 has redesigned its looks, the speakers are at the bottom the phone, the camera and the LED has also changed its positions.
The Redmi 4 has dual SIM slots, but to use the Micro SD card, will need to compromise one of the slot. Available in 3 different colors; Gold, Grey and Silver.
The Xiaomi’s smartphones are known for its effective cost and great features; price for Redmi 4 Pro is ($133) 8884 INR and for Redmi 4 Standard is ($105) 7014 INR.
