Xiaomi smartphone in the codename Mi 6X was spotted on TENAA a few days back. The phone is to launch on the global markets with the name Xiaomi Mi A2, the successor of the Mi A1. Today, the much-alleged specifications have been leaked online. The leaked specs confirm a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
The specs surfaced online reveal that the phone is to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 626 octa-core SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone will support expandable storage and will arrive on Android Oreo 8.1 and is further said to be backed by a 2,910mAh battery.
In terms of camera, the phone is to house a dual camera setup much similar to the setup seen in iPhone X as leaked by TENAA; this setup will include a 20 MP (f/2.0 aperture) primary sensor and an 8 MP (f/1.8 aperture) secondary sensor. The novelty will feature a 20 MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The fingerprint scanner will be placed on the rear panel.
Much of what has been leaked is in line with previous sightings of the Mi 6X. There is currently no word on when Xiaomi plans to launch the smartphone in China and later in India.
