Xiaomi has unveiled a new smartphone Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite with a 48-megapixel triple camera, a 6.4-inch Full HD + display and a Snapdragon 710 on board. This new smartphone is for the European market and is the cheap variant of the Mi 9.

Xiaomi had announced Mi 9 Lite in February 2019. The Mi 9 SE was introduced a month later as a cheap and smaller alternative. In August 2019, Xiaomi released a more advanced model, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro. The recently announced Lite model is a sort of large variant of the SE.

The Mi 9 Lite is a modern designed telephone with narrow screen edges and a small waterdrop notch. The fingerprint scanner is placed under the 6.4″ display screen with a resolution of 1080 × 2340 pixels offers support for HDR. The phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and has an 85.8% screen-to-body ratio.
The Android 9 smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 710 processor with 6GB of RAM. This chipset is often used for middle-class smartphones. There are two memory variants available, consumers can buy the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite with 64GB or 128GB memory. The storage memory can also be expanded with a microSD memory card.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite smartphone is equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f / 2.0 lens. At the back, it has a triple camera. A 48-megapixel wide-angle camera (f / 1.8), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 4,030 mAh battery built-in that supports 18W fast charging.
However, it is not known when the Xiaomi 9 Lite smartphone will be available in the Netherlands. In Spain, the phone will be launched this month for a starting price of € 320. There are three colors available: black, white and blue.
