Today, Xiaomi launched Android One smartphone in India with a bunch of upgrades in terms of software and hardware. This time the company claims to have listened to user feedback while developing the new smartphone.
Xiaomi Mi A3 features a 6.08-inch Super AMOLED HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1580 pixels. The front of the device touts a 6.1-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch at the top. Mi A3 also gets a 7th-generation in-display fingerprint scanner. All this is wrapped around a glass body that gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Under the hood, it will come with a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core chipset along with Adreno 610 GPU. It seems to power the device enough to take care of daily tasks with up to 6GB of RAM. The smartphone also offers 128GB internal UFS 2.1 storage which you can expand using a microSD card.
It comes with a massive 4,030 mAh battery on the Mi A3 with support for 18W fast-charging. The Mi A3 is quite funky to look with its three funky colors options; White, Not Just Blue, and Kind of Grey. For selfies, there is 32MP front camera inside the notch with support for AI Face Unlock.
In terms of connectivity, it includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C, IR Blaster, etc. The Mi A3 with 4GB + 64GB storage is priced at Rs 12,999, whereas the 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 15,999. It would go on sale starting August 23.
