Since Xiaomi has confirmed the Mi Mix 2S, the flagship smartphone by Xiaomi, this has become a hot topic for the geek community. Each day the internet is flooded with hundreds and thousands of concept images of the phone.
Till now, Xiaomi has only talked about the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip as a system-on-chip of the device. Besides that, no system specification has got officially announced by the company. Today, the XDA Developers have shared some possible features of the camera of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S. There were reports that Xiaomi has been trying to improvise the camera segment of the device. They even posted some videos related to technologies like multi-frame image processing and slow-motion video shooting on their official Weibo account.
Funky Huawei.club., a facility that provides paid services to update, unbrick or rebrand Huawei and Honor phones, has claimed that the device will be pre-loaded with Android Oreo out of the box, will accompany a massive 3,400 mAh battery, and will be portraying FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. From the recently published XDA information now more data can be added to the list.
Portrait Mode :
After receiving tremendously positive feedback on the Google Pixel 2’s picture quality, it looks like more and more smartphone manufacturers are trying to incorporate the same technology into their products. Hence following the same path, the Mi Mix 2S will reportedly have a dual camera setup with portrait mode. It is to be noted that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, the former version of Mi Mix 2S, didn’t support the portrait mode, however.
Multi-Frame Noise Reduction :
The device will likely behave in Multi-Frame Noise Reduction technology as it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip feature.
Slow Motion Enhancements :
According to the reports, the Mi Mix 2S will offer 1080p at 1w0 FPS and 720p at 240 FPS. This conclusion has been reached on the basis of the MIUI Camera APK and media_profiles_vendor.xml file (outlines the encoding settings).
