Xiaomi arranged a big event on September 24, 2019. Just before the event, the company posted several teasers on Weibo about the new phone, which is now known as the Mi Mix Alpha. The new phone will come with a waterfall display and curved edges that are dramatically dropping off the sides.
The Chinese smartphone maker has teased the arrival of Mi 9 Pro 5G and the Mi Mix 5G for a while now, both of which are set to go official on September 24. While the Mi 9 Pro 5G will be a 5 G-ready version of the Mi 9 flagship, the upcoming Mi Mix series phone courted more interest due to the Mi Mix series’ focus on design.
Xiaomi’s latest teaser poster for the Mi Mix Alpha shows the silhouette of a phone with a 100 percent screen-to-body ratio. The Mi Mix series phones have been known for their slim bezels and high screen-to-body ratio, so it is only natural for Xiaomi to strive for the 100 percent screen-to-body ratio record with the upcoming Mi Mix series phone.
Xiaomi’s Mi MIX 4 is the highest-end smartphone of the year that features a completely bezel-less display, similar to all MIX series smartphones from the company released till date. It touts a dual-frequency GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, dual-4G LTE SIM card slot, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
The Mi MIX 4 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processing chipset the same processor used in Mi MIX 3 5G. As per pricing Mi MIX 4, price is expected to be Rs. 39,990, the 128GB variant costs around Rs. 39,990 and comes in Black and Blue color options. It is expected to launch in early October of 2019.
