We have all faced weak internet signals within the walls of our homes. Navigating from one room to another has always happened to cause weak internet connection, and while this has always been a real agitation for us users, we have tried to find our own remedy by keeping the router in the middle of our home but did that really help? Xiaomi has the correct remedy for home users; the Xiaomi Mi Router Mesh allows equitable data distribution.
Xiaomi Mi Router Mesh launched a few days ago with two routers to give users seamless coverage of a particular area. Today, the company announced its additional configuration that is equipped with a Qualcomm DAKOTA 4-core ARM processor, which has a single core frequency of 717MHz that will make online video playback smoother and also ensure low latency.
Furthermore, the Mi WiFi mesh router is easy to configure. Each port automatically detects the WAN and LAN cables, so when one port is used as a WAN; the others automatically switch to LAN. Also, the new product has 256MB of memory and allows connections with up to 248 devices from a single setup.
Xiaomi Mi Router Mesh has already been launched in China, the company’s first mesh router for the wireline, wireless, or Gigabit Ethernet networks. The router is cylindrical in shape and features a power button on the side with an LED ring around it. The signal transmission range of the router is claimed high and is noted to penetrate through walls as well. Currently, the router has no pricing as it will go through a round of beta testing before reaching consumers at large.
