Xiaomi had launched the Mi Super Bass Wireless Headphones in India almost a year back. The headphones were hyped, and as per Xiaomi’s reliable performance, the headphones became an instant hit here.
However, there was one major factor that needed to be taken into account, that is its price. At the time of its launch, it was priced at INR. 2199. But Xiaomi India recently tweeted that the same headphone is now available on an offer, and the new offer price is INR. 1599. The offer lasts till the stock lasts.
The Xiaomi Mi Super Bass Wireless Headphones feature an around-ear design with padding under the headband and around the ears. Its battery is designed to last up to 20 hours on a single charge. The headphones use Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and 40mm dynamic drivers. The voice assistant on the smartphone could be triggered using the headphones directly. The name perhaps gives away its main best feature – that of strong bass.
As for charging the headphone, it could be done using a Micro-USB port which is attached at its bottom. Although the name suggests that the headphone is wireless, it also supports wired connectivity through a 3.5mm socket which would come handy to users when their wireless headphones run out of charge.
When it first came out in the market, its main opponent was certainly other wireless headphones, especially Boat Rockerz 400 and AntAudio Treble 900. However, whereas the other wireless headphones use the in-ear design, the around-ear design of the Mi wireless headphone was certainly a head-turner.
The headphones at a discounted price are available on the official Xiaomi website, and interested people can buy if directly from the website. There is no fixed timeline as to when the sale will expire, but as mentioned in the tweet by the tech giant, that the offer will last only till the stocks last.
