Xiaomi doesn’t stop to startle its users with its new products and models throughout the year. Along with smartphones, the company also brings various other daily home usage products involving smart TVs. The company has also released more posters and teasers in its home country, hinting at how it could unveil new TVs and some new home products at the event. Recently, a report published in Gizmochina suggests Xiaomi could launch Mi TVs with a camera sensor.
The poster shared online showcases that the new Mi TV will come with a camera sensor at the top-right corner. A step ahead by the Chinese company as this will be the first TV to support camera sensor. With this new gesture, Xiaomi is probably planning to offer video calling support or gesture-based operations.
But what is most interesting are the suggestions that the company could announce a significant upgrade to its smart TV line-up not only with sensor camera but also a double-sided TV. This is because the promotional teasers launched by Xiaomi claim that Xiaomi’s big-ticket announcement will be double-sided art.
This has led to the speculation that Xiaomi could launch a new dual-screen TV with panels on the back and front of the unit. Another less radical interpretation of Xiaomi’s teaser is that this could be in some way related to the TVs remote getting an upgrade.
The company also suggests launching as many as eight new home products that include smart scales, table lamps, speakers, TV boxes and other products at the event. The products along with the new Mi TV are supposed to launch in China on 23rd April. The products will be available in the Indian market as well.
