The long-rumored Mi Wallpaper TV got launched today. At an event in China Xiaomi launched its first ever wallpaper TV along with all-new Mi TV models. The company announced four models of its Mi TV – 32″ HD Smart TV, 43″ FHD Smart TV, 55″ 4K HDR Smart TV, and 65″ 4K HDR Smart TV with voice command remote control.

At the event, Xiaomi focused on the concept of “full screen,” bringing the high-screen ratio in smartphones to TV products, which significantly increased the design sense of outcomes. Talking about the Mi wallpaper TV, it contains 30 cables for seamless transmission of 18Gbps HD signal and up to 400W high power supply with new-generation MiPort to connect the TV screen and the body.
As teased by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun the range comes with a slim frame and full-screen design, which is similar to the design language on the Xiaomi Mi MIX range of smartphones.
In terms of specifications, the 32-inch model uses a custom HD full-screen, equipped with a 4-core 64-bit high-performance processor with 1GB+4GB storage; the 43-inch model features a custom FHD Full HD full-screen with HDR 10 decoding and a 4-core 64-bit high-performance processor with 1GB+8GB of storage.

The 55-inch model features a custom 4K UHD full-screen, HDR 10 decoding, a 4-core 64-bit high-performance processor, 2GB+8GB storage, and 2.4/5G dual-band Wi-Fi. The 65-inch model features a custom 4K UHD full screen, HDR 10 decoding, a 4-core 64-bit high-performance processor, 2GB+8GB storage, and 2.4/5G dual-band Wi-Fi.
The new bezel-less smart TVs are priced as low as CNY 1099. The Mi wallpaper TV comes only in 65-inch screen size and is priced at CNY 6999.
