After its popularity with Mijia Projector 1S 4K version, Xiaomi has finally launched its anticipated, far-field voice-supporting Mijia projector 2 Pro. Equipped with a 4-channel Luminus LED light source it provides brightness up to 1300 ANSI lumens and can portray good quality pictures even in a brightly lit room.
The far-field voice support technology is the most sought-after feature that has been incorporated in this projector allowing it to be operated via an AI voice assistant over a distance without the use of remote control. Also with its side projection design, it eradicates the necessity to mount the projector opposite to the screen/wall.
Moreover, its keystone technology further helps to create keystone effects of an output image, distorting the usual shape and giving it more flexibility for viewers to see the images/videos from different angles.
Features
It operates two modes, TOF Non-Sensing Focus and Camera Focus, enabling the projector to autofocus. With its Amlogic System On Chip configuration, it exhibits better performance by 63% than the usual Amlogic T962. It also features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flash memory, with resolution up to 1080p but can decode video quality from 4k to 8k. It comes along with two 1.75-inch 10-watt speakers and all together operates over a system called Patchwall.
Currently, Mijia projector 2 Pro is priced at 658$ and is available for pre-booking in China. Purchasers can book the product by advancing 14$ and receive a Mijia Charging Lamp for free.
