Xiaomi has introduced a new extra-low vacuum cleaner dubbed Mijia Ultra-Thin Robot Vacuum Cleaner. This is not the first time the Chinese tech giant has developed robotic vacuums. But what differentiates it from the rest of the vacuum cleaners is that the Mijia Ultra-Thin Robot Vacuum is only 55 mm in its height, and it is 323 mm in its diameter, making it an easy fit for low furniture or a bed. Although Xiaomi has designed the vacuum cleaner in a very compact manner, the company has not compromised when it comes to its features.
The Mijia Ultra-Thin Robot features an advanced 3D ToF sensor, and the cleaner sports a new S-Cross 3D algorithm. The cleaner can recognize various small objects such as children’s toys or slippers. Additionally, the cleaner offers a suction power of up to 2000 Pa, and the dust collector comes with a capacity of 500 ml. Recently, any vacuum cleaner to come out on the market comes with the additional function of moping. Xiaomi’s latest invention to supports the function, and its container has a capacity of 220 ml.
The well-known Mi Home application can control any smart products or IoT to come out with the Xiaomi tag. Users can control the device through the app and using voice control via the XiaoAI assistant.
Xiaomi has mentioned time and again that the company is aiming to make a living a lot smarter while also making it inexpensive; most of the smart home products offered by the company do not usually burn a hole in the pocket. The Xiaomi Mijia Ultra-Thin Robot Vacuum Cleaner is available only in the Chinese market as of now, and it is priced at 1999 yuan, roughly $310. It should be kept in mind that the company has not revealed any intention of launching this product in the global market outside of China.
