The famous leaker, Ben Geskin, responsible for leaking many of the anticipated mobiles until now, along with other big leakers like Ice Universe, has now made concept render images to predict what could be the Xiaomi Pocophone Poco F2, the successor of the famous Pocophone F1.
Focused on low-cost yet powerful devices, Xiaomi’s Poco sub-brand does not have the habit of prioritizing smartphone design and ends up using common designs in its smartphone range to save for R&D cost savings. But still, Ben Geskin has published a pretty decent handset rendering with a 6.39-inch screen in a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio.
According to him, the next generation of the Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco mobile phone is expected to come with Snapdragon 855 platform from Qualcomm and Android 9.0 Pie pre-installed. It would certainly be a big call, but this is still rumorous and unlikely since, according to Chinese media, only a special version of the Mi MIX 3 successor, reportedly Xiaomi Mi Mix 3s is expected to bring the new chipset first on Xiaomi Smartphones range so far. It should initially be launched in the Xiaomi flagship range first in the early months of 2019.
In addition, it is expected that the Xiaomi Pocophone F2 will feature an AMOLED display with a water-drop shape notch at the top that recently debuted in the Xiaomi smartphone range with the Mi Play, which was made official in Christmas 2018.
It seems that the Pocophone F2 launch will not be far away since a retail network had recently reported that the brand was already in the works on its next generation, although the announcement date is still unknown.
