Three Xiaomi models got certified by TENAA in China last week: M1804C3CC, M1804C3DE, and M1804C3CE. Two of these are said to be Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A. Now, the model Xiaomi M1805D1SE has been certified, and rumors say that this is the Redmi 6 Pro.
Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro has a 5.84-inch FHD+ 2.5D curved glass display supporting 2280 x 1080 pixels with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It will possibly be powered by Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocking at 2GHz.
Running Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 9.5, the phone has three storage variants: 2/16GB, 3/32GB, and 4/64GB in terms of RAM and inbuilt memory. It can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD. It’s a Hybrid Dual SIM phone, so there’s no dedicated slot for the memory card.
Regarding the camera, Redmi 6 Pro bears a 12 MP primary lens with LED flash, and the second lens hasn’t been disclosed. The front camera bears a 5 MP lens. The handset will carry a 4,000mAh typical or 3,900mAh minimum battery.
Among other features are a fingerprint scanner, an infrared sensor, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, GPS+GLONASS, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz+5GHz). Weighing 178 grams, the device measures 149.33 x 71.68 x 8.75mm.
The color options for Redmi 6 Pro are Black, White, Red, Blue, Grey, Pink, Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold. The phone and other recently certified models and Mi 8 may be announced in China on May 31. Xiaomi said they are to introduce several of their new products, including MIUI 10 and Mi Band 3.
The phone is supposed to be within an affordable bracket of the price range.
