Although there are so many advantages of having a smartphone but one thing that concerns users the most is its battery life. Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4 can be the solution for that – the Chinese company claims that the newly launched smartphone gives two-day battery life which sounds so exciting.

VP Hugo Barra of Xiaomi took the stage in the Indian capital of New Delhi today to reveal the Note 3’s successor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The company promises that its latest phone delivers two-day battery life while maintaining the same size. The Xiaomi Note 4 is a 5.5-inch device that features a 4100mAh battery in it. It consists of a metal body that encases a full HD display behind a curved glass front; looks like it’s taken design cues from the company’s 6.4-inch Mi Max that launched last year. Xiaomi also claims an unmatched thermal performance for the Note 4, allowing it to run cool despite running graphics-intensive games.

The smartphone runs on a Snapdragon 625 processor with an Adreno 506 GPU. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 also features 13-megapixel rear camera with a CMOS1.12um pixel sensor and a 5-megapixel shooter on the front. It provides support for dual 4G SIM cards, or one SIM supported with a microSD card for up to 128GB of expandable storage. It consists of a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel and an infrared blaster up top to control your home entertainment systems and TVs.

Another striking feature of the Note 4 is that the smartphone occupies the $150 price bracket making it a very attractive and budget-friendly device. Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 will be shipped upon release but the OS can be flashed to a beta ROM with Android 7.0 Nougat. The full version will roll out once it has been green-lit by Xiaomi’s testers.
