Xiaomi is rumored to release a new Redmi Note 5 sometime in 2018. The Chinese company is on its way to creating a monopoly on the smartphone market with its latest lineup for 2018. The company recently placed its place as top five smartphone makers globally. An official document released by the company shows the sales to have spiked a lot – the company sold over 27.6 million smartphones last year.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will receive the new processor Snapdragon 636 although it is not the first instance the company will be using the chipset in the upcoming device. The features of the phone appear to be quite breathtaking – the processor will operate at a clock frequency that can amount up to 1.8 GHz. The most prominent aspect of the device is to be its design.
According to the reports, the 5.5-inch display smartphone will have a full aluminum body with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Xiaomi is renowned for providing larger RAM in their devices for the smooth functioning of the device. Redmi Note 5 is expected to sport 4GB RAM with a Flash Module which is expected to be able to store 64GB of memory. The smartphone has a 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual camera at the back.
The display pixels resolution is 2160 x 1080 which enables the phone to have a format of Full HD+. This is somewhat like the new smartphone that HTC is planning to release on the market this year. As far as battery is concerned, it is probably to have a huge 4000 mAh. This will also lead to the charging time being reduced by a lot with the fast-charging technology.
