Xiaomi unveiled a new smart speaker with a touch-screen display at the Xiaomi 9 conference, which was held on 20 February 2019. Xiaomi has taken a lot of care for the new gadgets they bring into the market. They have been successful in integrating the mobile with the AIoT dual-engine strategy. The offspring of the strategy is Xiaomi. The new speakers with a touch-screen were introduced to the world at the latest conference. The sales of the Xiaoai speakers have exceeded 9 million units.
The smart home control in the new speaker with the touch-screen will be visible. The conference also articulated that the Xiaoai speakers had been used over 10 billion times in Chinese households alone. So the new speaker sports the Xiaomi 4-inch display that was designed to be a domestic name. The speaker will feature a large number of video resources and a QQ music library.
The Xiaomi smart display home hub can be customized to add features like an alarm clock, play music and video. The new speaker because it has a small touch-screen and the fact that it can perform a number of functions usually pertained to a TV, the speaker is being called a “small TV”. Xiaomi also claims that it can be activated by voice command, thanks to the Xiaoai. It will also support smart doorbell products, which will show who is at the doorsteps.
It is a fact now known to almost every consumer that Xiaomi is notorious for its invention of different kinds of things. The small TV, as it is being called, is a brand new worthy addition to the plethora of gadgets invented by Xiaomi. As for its price, Xiaomi has not yet revealed the price of the Xiaomi Xiao AI touchscreen speaker box. However, the Xiaomi smart display home hub might go on sale on Thursday, i.e 28 February 2019 onwards.
