Xiaomi used its Youpin crowdfunding platform to a great extent and brought out a couple of new innovative products. Other than the walkie-talkie that the company brought out that is now being talked about so much, a new gadget appeared on 11th December 2019. The new device turned out to be a new Bluetooth alarm clock, a 3-in-1 smart gadget.
The alarm clock sports a minimalist design without any physical buttons. The exclusion of buttons is in-vogue now. The clock is enclosed in a squared rubber body. However, the apparent button-less alarm clock does have a button albeit hidden. The top rubber panel does a marvelous job of hiding the button. A single press above the button snoozes the alarm for another 10 minutes and a double-tap immediately disables the alarm.
As mentioned before, the alarm comes with Bluetooth and with its help, it can be synchronized with a smartphone and its clock. Xiaomi Bluetooth alarm clock comes with 8 different ringtones, and the volume can be adjusted according to the preference of its user.
The alarm clock can be termed as a smart alarm clock as it is capable of doing things that a basic smartphone can do. In addition to its alarm function, the clock can determine the temperature and humidity. For determining the temperature, a Swiss Sensirion sensor with a measurement accuracy of +/- 0.2 degrees C is used for temperature, while the measurement of humidity is +/- 2% accurate.
The Xiaomi Bluetooth alarm clock is equipped with a backlit display with adjustable intensity. The brightness is automatically adjusted depending on the level of illumination. The backlight time is adjustable from fully off to 30 seconds.
The alarm clock itself can be synchronized with other home devices. If the temperature reaches a certain degree, the heater may automatically turn on.
The Xiaomi alarm clock is priced at $8 and will go on sale on January 14, 2020.
